For a textbook, this book is full to the brim with unnecessary fluff and fails to back up most of what it claims with empirical data.
I refuse to believe this was the best book available for a women's health course. For one thing, instead of supplying the reader with the results of studies, it emphasizes stereotypes of both women and men with no evidence explaining its claims.
