November 28, I realize this is an old thread, but I picked up a used keystation 49e and was able to get it working a bit on win7 but not win I now have it working in win10 and it's perfect.
Here's what I did: My interface is a behringer umc 2 input 2 out with midi. I'm running it into Reaper. I first got everything working correctly with a casio keyboard, then simply changed out keyboards making sure to change keyboards in the Reaper midi properties. I did swap out the usb cord first with the one from my Behringer. I think this made a difference. In Reaper, first i inserted -vst instrument on new track, set input and output device as midi all channels instead of Behringer umc, then went to effects and checked a vst instrument plug in that I had downloaded.
Reaper audio device settings were Asio and Asio umc behringer. If you have any spare usb cords, try swapping them. Oh yea, I also used a 9v power adapter as well as usb. All rights reserved.
